Obviously I can't speak for the entire UK. However, there are a hell of a lot of Brits who cannot for the life of them understand why America is content to let children, women and men carry on being murdered on an industrial scale rather than amend an archaic amendment in your constitution.
Your 'Right to bear arms' was conceived when the people of the New World were ejecting the British imperialists out of the country that was stolen from the American Indians. At this time "arms" were mainly flintlock guns and muskets. Times have changed, yet as a nation, you seem to be content to let the mass shootings continue.

OK the UK isn't perfect, but at least there are attempts and measures to contain and manage the issue.

Clearly in this world, human life is very cheap. More so in the United States of America. I personally think that the priorities of the people like the NRA and the pro gun lobby in the USA are completely skewed.
